How NonceWard uses RugWard Pay, what data it keeps, security rules, and answers to common questions.

Payments through RugWard Pay#
Rentals and the provider stake are paid with RugWard Pay invoices. You choose the coin on the RugWard Pay checkout and pay from your own wallet. NonceWard learns that an invoice is paid from RugWard Pay's signed webhooks and re-checks the invoice before funding a rental.

Privacy#
- Waitlist: only the email address you enter and the time you joined, to send an invite. Ask and it is deleted.
- Accounts: your public wallet address, the payout and refund addresses you enter, your rigs, rentals and share statistics.
- Stratum proxy: sees the IP address of connected rigs to protect the service from abuse; it is not stored with your account.
- No data selling and no advertising trackers.
Security#
- Sign-in is a free message signature. NonceWard never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
- Sign out everywhere ends every session of your account.
- The rig key (
nw_…) is shown once and stored only as a hash; rotate it if it leaks. - Rental targets are checked: private, local and internal hosts and dangerous ports are refused, so the proxy cannot be pointed at internal services.
FAQ#
How do I get an invite?#
Join the waitlist on the home page with your email address. Invites are sent as the beta grows.
Which algorithms can I rent?#
Only RandomX (Monero, CPU) during the beta. Other algorithms, GPU rental and AI rigs are planned.
Can I mine solo?#
Yes. Point the rental at your own Stratum endpoint, for example P2Pool next to your Monero node.
Does NonceWard guarantee mining income?#
No. NonceWard measures and pays for verified hashrate. What that hashrate earns depends on your pool or node and on luck.
What if the rig goes offline?#
Windows with no shares pay the provider nothing; that money is refunded to you at the end.
When do I get my refund or payout?#
After the rental is settled, the team sends it manually during the beta, in the coin you chose. The amount is shown in your dashboard.
Is mining legal where I live?#
Mining may be restricted in some places. You are responsible for following your local laws, including on electricity use and taxes.
